In het centrum van Helmond, pal naast het station, wordt het oude belastingkantoor omgebouwd naar 93 gasloze appartementen. De appartementen zijn verkocht aan beleggers en worden bij oplevering verhuurd tussen de 800 en 1100 Euro.

Het Stationskwartier in hartje Helmond is volop in ontwikkeling en hard op weg een ­dynamische, hippe woon- en werkomgeving te worden voor jong en oud. Mooie en betaalbare appartementen in leegstaande kantoorpanden past goed in deze visie. Ook komt er een snelfietspad naar Eindhoven met een gloednieuwe fietsbrug over het kanaal en frequente bus- en treinverbindingen met de regio Brainport.
