Vonderpark Kwartier is located in the city center of Eindhoven. The unique location provides unparalleled access to the city center (2 mins walk) as well as to the main office hubs in Eindhoven, thanks to proximity to the central station (5 mins walking distance). The area surrounding the central station is being redeveloped, providing tenants with a modern and well-amenitized neighborhood.
The project consists of 475 residential units addressing a diversified set of occupier groups. 60 “friends” units with an average size of 77 sqm allow starters in the housing market to live with a tenant; tenants share kitchen and living room, while bedroom and bathroom are independent. 297 mid-segment units with an average size of 57 sqm target singles and young couples, and address the lack of small and affordable units in the Eindhoven market. 118 free segment units with an average size of 80 sqm target couples (with children) who want to live in a vibrant and well-amenitised environment.
The project aims to reduce the housing shortage in the Eindhoven region, which is experiencing strong economic and demographics growth driven by the advanced manufacturing and technology industry. Furthermore, the project will deliver strong social impact for the Eindhoven population: all the units will be rented out at rental levels that are affordable for the target occupier groups (and in line with municipality regulation), and the project will contribute to the overall area redevelopment. Finally, the project will have strong environmental credentials, incl. BREEAM Excellent In-Use and CRREM alignment for 15 years after completion.
